The boat in these pictures is moored along the Esplanade in Rochester at a point that dries out soon after HW. It is tied up and doesn’t look quite as if it’s abandoned, but it’s an odd place to moor. If you have any information about the boat or its owner please contact info@msba.org.uk or AllMedwayMarineManagers@peelports.com

MSBA Business Meeting, Tues 29 March, by ZOOM
Due to the rapidly rising numbers of COVID 19 cases throughout Kent and the number of cases that arose after a recent local club gathering, the committee has decided that the MSBA quarterly business meeting, next Tuesday, 29 March 2022 will be a virtual ZOOM meeting. It is disappointing, especially after our excellent face-to-face AGM and business meeting at Rochester Cruising Club in November, but we look forward to holding a future business meeting at Queenborough Yacht Club as soon as the situation improves.
The Zoom link, agenda and minutes will be sent out by email to members shortly. If you don’t receive this in the next two days please email info@msba.org.uk with your contact details.

Diesel stolen from moored boats
With the rocketing price of diesel this was bound to happen! Several boats at Strood Pelican Cruising Club, near Rochester Bridge, have reported that fuel has been siphoned from their tanks. Please check your tanks and report to the police if you believe a theft has occurred. Also please inform info@msba.org.uk so we can share the information with other boaters.
Queenborough Harbour Newsletter
A little late perhaps but not too much has happened in the last two years so this is still of interest. We hope to bring you future editions of this superb newsletter produced by Margaret Brett for the harbour trust.
