MSBA Business Meeting, Tues 29 March, by ZOOM

Due to the rapidly rising numbers of COVID 19 cases throughout Kent and the number of cases that arose after a recent local club gathering, the committee has decided that the MSBA quarterly business meeting, next Tuesday, 29 March 2022 will be a virtual ZOOM meeting. It is disappointing, especially after our excellent face-to-face AGM and business meeting at Rochester Cruising Club in November, but we look forward to holding a future business meeting at Queenborough Yacht Club as soon as the situation improves.

The Zoom link, agenda and minutes will be sent out by email to members shortly. If you don’t receive this in the next two days please email info@msba.org.uk with your contact details.

  1. I can’t believe this is still going on. Three years ago folk would have gathered for an enjoyable evening of social interaction. Subsequently and inevitably some folk would have developed coughs and sniffles leaving most reaching for the paracetamol and a box of tissues. Sadly, an elderly person may have developed complications and died some time later. This has happend every day since time immemorial. My 87 year old vaccinated Mother with underlying health issues has just recovered from “covid” and a particularly nasty chest infection, she wasn’t hospitalised yet she is still being subjected to “lockdowns”. This is over and we need to vote with our feet. Stop testing, underwrite our own risks and get back to enjoying what life we have left before the start of WW3. This is just my humble opinion!
