The Club long ago severed its former connection with British Gas as an employees’ club, and is now a registered Community Amateur Sports Club which is open to accept new members from the whole community. Deep water moorings are available, as well as a limited number of drying alongside and half-tide berths, plus secure winter storage ashore on clean hard standing with access to water and electricity, subject to a length limit of 11 metres overall boat length for all berths, and the provision by members of suitable wheeled and steerable cradles for onshore storage. Dinghy and cruiser racing is organised throughout the season, along with several club cruises in company during the season, and a lively social programme throughout the year.
