Notice to Mariners 15 of 2026 – Yalding Lifting Bridge

Yalding Lifting Bridge has sustained damage as a result of several third party incidents since its refurbishment. To address this, remedial works will be carried out on Monday 21 September, during which contractors will remove the damaged balustrade. The work is expected to take approximately one hour, commencing at 07:30. During this period, passage through the bridge will not be possible. Intermittent bridge closures may also be required before contractors reinstall the refurbished balustrade, which is currently scheduled for 28 or 29 September. We appreciate your patience and understanding while these essential repairs are completed. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your continued cooperation.
