MSBA Website issues

Update:

Thanks to the help of a member, the website is now stable and it hasn’t been necessary to completely rebuild the site. There are still some problems affecting load times, but these will be dealt with when time permits.

The MSBA Website is suffering serious problems. You may see an error message “Error establishing a database connection.” Repeated page refreshes will normally eventually reload.

Our hosting company have diagnosed that we have probably been hacked and a malicious Malware infection has been loaded.

The affect is to overload the site. Our hosts have recommended that we completely wipe the site and rebuild it.

We will be unable to reload a backup as our backups are probably also infected, so it will be a long drawn out process to get back to a fully functioning site.

As the MSBA website was built and is maintained by volunteers, this is going to take some time to implement.
