Notice to Mariners 5 of 2026 – East Farleigh Sluice – Bank Stabilisation Works

Bank stabilisation works will be carried out at East Farleigh Sluice between 16 April and 14 May.
Material deliveries to site will take place on Thursday 16 April and Friday 17 April. During these dates, a work barge will be positioned within the lock to receive concrete bags via crane.
Vessels navigating through East Farleigh during this period may be required to wait while lifting operations are carried out, and some delays should be expected.
Boaters are asked to proceed with caution, follow any instructions given by site staff, and allow extra time for their passage.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your cooperation.
