The “pirate ship” which blocked Sun Pier for weeks in the summer left Rochester Riverside on Sunday afternoon and ran aground this morning at the entrance to Faversham Creek, resulting in a lifeboat callout. Coincidentally, today is Talk Like a Pirate Day.
