Aground in Style

On the East Coast they say if you don’t go aground you’re not trying hard enough. The crew of this yacht seen in Sharfleet on Saturday evening must have been trying very hard. They did the traditional thing and got out to scrub the bottom while they had the opportunity.
From one who is guilty of an occasional lapse – I’m in Sharleet at moment (Grey and drizzly…) and watched a while ago as a little sloop came in from Stangate and headed straight for one of those humps, fortunately the little boat ‘bounced’ off… She’s now safely at anchor!
