Rochester Pier open again
UPDATE 22 May: Hayley Taylor from Medway Council advises that the token machine has just been replaced at Rochester Pier, so it is open again. However there are still electrical supply problems at Sun Pier so it can only be used by Jetstream Tours, who have a key.
Good news about the pier pity about the lack of facilities hope this can be remedied.
What facilities did you have in mind? The pier is just for boats visiting Rochester for a few hours.
The more “facilities” the more likelihood of vandalism and then the pier gets closed by the council.
Also more facilities mean more squatters that the council has to evict, which takes months.
Can I moor up at the pier?
yes. no overnight mooring though. same on Sun Pier.
