Please be advised that GPS MACS will be conducting a survey of the intake structure at Springfield Pumping Station, located approximately 2km upstream of Allington Lock on the River Medway.<\/p>\n

The survey will be carried out using a Remote Operated Vehicle (ROV), which will be launched from the riverbank. To ensure the safety of both the survey team and passing vessels, a 5-metre exclusion zone will be enforced around the works area.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

Safety Measures:<\/p><\/div>\n
\u2022\u2002\u2002\u2002\u2002\u2002A safety boat will be positioned upstream and downstream of the survey site to alert and guide passing vessels.<\/div>\n
\u2022\u2002\u2002\u2002\u2002\u2002Mariners are requested to navigate with caution and comply with instructions from safety personnel.<\/p><\/div>\n
