Located in Queenborough, on the Isle of Sheppey, the Queenborough Rowing Club benefits from some of the most varied and interesting areas to row anywhere. We meet Sunday mornings at 10-30 all year round with additional second meeting during British Summer Time on Wednesdays six o’clock mainly for recreational and fitness rowing but we are increasingly entering and organising more competitive rows. We pride ourselves on being a friendly and welcoming club with a small but expanding membership especially with younger people. Although possessing a mixed array of craft we mainly row Scarborough Gigs which are fixed seat four oared 27 foot long boats. We have competed over the past years in the Great River Race and we go on a number of club excursions including an annual rowing holiday.

We are always looking for new members of all ages and abilities. Please send an e-mail and we will contact you with details or meet us at the boat yard opposite the Social Club in Queenborough [post code ME11 5EN] and introduce yourself. You can find us on Facebook and should you wish to contact us :
