RKJ Pontoon named at Queenborough

RKJ pontoon 2New York has its JFK Airport. Now Queenborough has the RKJ Pontoon, named this morning in honour of Sir Robin Knox-Johnston who was visiting to see his Clipper Fleet set off on their Round the World Race today. Sir Robin, who is a Patron of Queenborough Harbour Trust, was full of praise for what the Trust has achieved.

  1. Met RKJ over last weekend. A very committed and approachable man, and a great ambassador for sailing . The harbour trust has done great work in the past year, and the facility is going from strength to strength. It can only get better!
