Kelly is Patron of the MSBA and Tracey is Sports Minister. Tracey unveiled a new mural by Sharmaine Kwan. To the left you can see the parlous state of Medway’s only public slipway, known as Commodore’s Hard. The MSBA is campaigning for better public acess to the river.
Derek Zobel of Wilsonian SC asked us to share details of the Icom Regatta pack as advertised in RYA Wavelength publication – Annual review 2016 – page 17. This is suitable for clubs that wish to provide regatta officials with handheld VHF radios for an event.
The RNLI station at Sheerness is not open to the public but the All-weather Lifeboat and Inshore Lifeboat will be on display for you to visit at the All Tide Landing, Crundall’s Wharf, Queenborough Harbour. Come and meet the Crew and helpers and find out more about the work of the RNLI. Demonstration by the Inshore Lifeboat, RNLI Lifeguards and HM Coastguard.
Operational requirements permitting, the RNLI Lifeboats, lifeguards and stalls will be on display along with Kent Fire Rescue Launch and Fire Tender, HM Coastguard, Classic Cars and Scooters.

Wilsonian Sailing Club has an open day for you to try dinghy sailing on Saturday 21 May.
Medway Watersports Centre is offering dinghy sailing tasters at The Strand, Gillingham, in Wayfarers and Leaders on Saturday 21 May and Sunday 22 May.
Dover Marina as part of its open day on Saturday 21 May have arranged a “Flare Amnesty.” Private individuals can take flares along to Dover Marina between 10am and 1.30pm (not as previously stated) and dispose of them free of charge.
