Looking to join a sailing club in Kent near Larkfield i am an adult

The River Medway near you is a great place for boating but sailing boats are hindered by the bridges, so you would need to go downstream of Rochester Bridge for a sailing club, of which there are many. Alternatively there are reservoirs at Bewl, Bough Beech and Chipstead which are great dinghy sailing. If you tell me whether sailing dinghies are what you are looking for or large boats such as yachts, I can suggest a club. Also are you looking for somewhere with training for beginners?
